So, i didn't really understand electron shielding(screening) and effective nucler charge (Zeff) during lecture today so I hit the web to try and find a better explanation. This website gives a brief but good explanation of these topics -- penetration as well. This is especially helpful for the online hmwk. Happy Studies!
